THE BLADES GRIM LIFETIME BLADE WARRANTY

Our Lifetime Warranty is just what it says. Our straight razors are built to last. For some reason, if your blade is defective due to materials or workmanship, you can return it to us for repair. No matter where you bought it.

We will repair your blade, including parts, labor and or replacement with a new blade at our discretion. Please keep in mind, repair is not always possible or practical. In those cases we will replace your straight razor blade with the same or one that is comparable if your blade is no longer available. Please note if your straight razor has sentimental value when you send the blade to us.

 

REPAIRS NOT COVERED UNDER THE BLADES GRIM LIFETIME WARRANTY

If your straight razor needs to be repaired, please send it to us for evaluation. Don’t try to repair it yourself. Self–repair will void your warranty, and could cause self–injury.

Reasons why we may charge you a small fee for a blade repair:

–          Damage caused by misuse or abuse.
–          Failure to care, clean and maintain your straight razor.
–          Damage due to self–repair.
–          Straight razor loss due to shipping to and from The Blades Grim repair center.
–          Damage due to dismantling or tampering with your straight razor
–          Improper sharpening of the straight razor.

 

HOW TO SEND YOUR STRAIGHT RAZOR IN FOR REPAIR:

Tell us who you are and what is wrong with your straight razor.
Let us know what you think is wrong with your straight razor. Include your name, order number or copy of purchase receipt, address, phone number and email address.

Wrap your straight razor securely.
Before you ship your straight razor, please make sure you have cleaned it thoroughly, removing all traces of water, hair, soap & etc. Please put each cleaned straight razor in a case or wrap in cardboard to protect it during shipping. Pack it so the point it will not cut through the packaging. You will get your case or cardboard back upon return.

Packing up your straight razor.
We prefer that you pack your straight razor in a box. A padded envelope may also work. Be sure to put packing around the straight razor so it sits securely in the package (not bouncing around on the inside of the box).

Shipping methods.
We recommend that you insure your package and send it by a certified receipt that can be tracked. This will help protect you against possibility of loss or damage to your straight razor. Note that straight razor loss, including shipping to and from The Blades Grim, is not covered under warranty.

Please expect 3-7 weeks for replacement or repairs.
